Our Hygienists

Pixie

Pixie began her career in the dental field as a dental assistant in 1983, and then completed her degree in dental hygiene at Clark College in 1991. She has been a dental hygienist at Cooper Moss since 1993.

She is also a Red Cross volunteer and enjoys traveling and going to the theatre.

Kathy

Kathy has been a dental hygienist at Cooper Moss since 1998. She completed her hygiene training at Pierce College in 1993.

Kathy's favorite passtime activiities include gardening, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Sandra

Sandra completed her dental hygiene training at Pierce College in 1976. She joined the team of dental hygienists at Cooper Moss in 2001.

Sandra has a broad interest in health, nutrition and fitness. She provides comfort therapy for local hospice organizations, and works with children and adults with oro-facial disorders.

Mary Jane

Mary Jane began her dental career as a dental assistant in her father's dental office in Texas while a high school student. She received her registered dental hygiene degree from Pierce College in 2005. Mary Jane began working for Cooper Moss in 2005 and became one of our full-time hygienists in 2009.

Mary Jane and her husband are the parents of two young children. She enjoys snowboarding, gardening and is particularly proud of a 90-year old wooden boat that they have restored.

Leslie

Leslie began her career in the dental field in 2003 when she came to work for Cooper Moss Advanced Dentistry as a sterilization assistant. In 2004 she graduated from South Puget Sound dental assisting program and worked as a dental assistant for Cooper Moss. She went on to receive her degree in dental hygiene from Columbia Basin in 2008. While in school she received the prestigious “Golden Scaler Award” from her instructors.

 

Leslie and her husband have one young son. In her free time she enjoys reading, gardening and various activities at her church.
